By accessing and registering with the Boma Prize for Africa, you confirm that you are in agreement with and bound by the terms and conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the participation in the Boma Prize for Africa competition. By registering for the competition, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Eligibility

  1. Participants must be aged 18 years or older.
  2. Participants must be residents of an African country or the African diaspora, with projects that benefit African communities.
  3. Employees of Boma Consult LLC and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
  4. Previous winners of the Boma Prize are ineligible to apply within three years of their winning date.

Registration and Submission

  1. Participants must pay any applicable fees and complete the official registration form.
  2. Submissions must be the original work of the participants.
  3. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Intellectual Property

  1. Participants retain ownership of their projects and ideas.
  2. By participating, contestants grant Boma Consult LLC the right to use their names, images, and project details for promotional purposes.

Judging and Decision Making

  1. Decisions made by the judging panel are final and binding.
  2. Boma Consult LLC reserves the right to disqualify any participant who breaches these terms.

Prizes and Awards

  1. Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are not transferable or convertible to cash.
  2. Winners are responsible for any taxes or fees associated with the prize receipt.

Liability

  1. Boma Consult LLC is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury to participants resulting from participation in this competition.
  2. Participants agree to indemnify Boma Consult LLC against any claim, loss, or damage arising from their participation.

Privacy

Boma Consult LLC will collect and use personal information solely for the purpose of administering the competition.

Personal information will not be shared with third parties without consent.

Amendments

Boma Consult LLC reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.
