As we move forward with the Boma Prize for Africa, we want to ensure that all participants are clear on the submission process for the Boma Entrepreneurial Certification Program (BEP) certificate and the associated pitch video.
CLARIFICATION ON SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
1. BEP Certificate First:
Requirement: Submitting your BEP certificate is a prerequisite for pitch video submission. This certificate confirms your successful completion of the BEP, qualifying you to proceed in the competition. (Visit https://bit.ly/BEPcourse to obtain your certificate)
Action Needed: If you have not yet submitted your certificate, please do so immediately using the link provided in your registration confirmation email. (Click here to submit your BEP certificate – https://bit.ly/bepsubmission)
2. Pitch Video Submission:
Eligibility: Only after your BEP certificate has been submitted and verified will you be eligible to submit your pitch video. This step is crucial as it ensures that all participants moving forward into the voting rounds have met all the educational requirements of the Boma Prize for Africa.
PITCH VIDEO SUBMISSION PROCESS
Google Drive Submission:
Prepare Your Video: Ensure your pitch video meets all guidelines—no longer than 2 minutes, clearly articulates the impact of your project, and showcases your innovation.
Upload to Google Drive: Save your video to Google Drive. Ensure that the sharing settings allow anyone with the link to view it.
Submit Your Link: We will provide a Pitch Video Submission Form where you will need to submit the link to your video stored in Google Drive. This form ensures we collect all necessary information alongside your video link.

Social Media Sharing:
Share Publicly: Post your video on your preferred social media platforms.
Tag Us: Use our official handle and designated hashtags (#bomaprizeforafrica, #bp4africa #bomaprizecontestant) when you share your video. This increases your visibility and engages the wider community with your innovative idea.
Interact and Engage: Encourage friends, family, and followers to view, like, and share your video. This not only spreads your idea but also garners public support and interest.
YouTube Upload:
Our Upload: The videos stored on Google Drive will be collected by our team and uploaded to our official YouTube channel. This allows your pitch to reach a broader audience, including potential investors, industry experts, and supporters worldwide. Consequently, all the videos will be further uploaded to the Voting Management System.
